All those "settlements", with #Meta under the spotlight only mean the government suing Meta will get some money.

Will that money ever reach those truly harmed by Meta? Doubtful, at best.

Law runs on jurisprudence, i.e., precedent, what someone decided before. At least before Roberts killed stare decisis at US SCOTUS.

Being found guilty or settling (admission of guilt, by extension), means Meta is determined to be at fault.

That opens the flood gates for individual or class lawsuits.
