@dalias @dysfun @pozorvlak I certainly didn't intend it as a joke, if by that you mean "not seriously intending to do it at all". Mines on a hat tiling really works – that screenshot isn't mocked up, it's a playable game, and a challenging one.

I admit I'm not above posting things deadpan which are intended as jokes. Sometimes _too_ subtly. And sometimes I'll post a screenshot of a puzzle game here which wasn't really intended to ever be released, like the Snooker Loopy one a few months ago. And sometimes there's a joke hidden in the _actual_ puzzle games, in the form of a preset game configuration which isn't actually a puzzle, but I left it in on purpose to see if anyone would spot why not. (I think one person has, so far.)

But this is in none of those categories. When it's done, hats Mines will be a real thing!
