I've thought a lot about these things. And I've come to the conclusion that living a healthy life within a sick society ultimately makes no sense. I am as far from being an American as one can possibly imagine.

We all have to try our best, to make the world a better place. Everyone has to do it the way that seems to promise them the most success.
