@990000@mstdn.social@thomasfuchs it continues to blow my mind that all these very smart people somehow thought it was ok to unleash LLMs in a freeform text input or chatbot, knowing full well that it's too open-ended to conceivably yield a high rate of success. I can only think it's due to some kind of extreme denial of reality. Nothing else can explain it.
