@judgedread "99% of programmers" are not the same as "99% of the people that roll out WordPress sites for small businesses". I mean, AI is replacing a guy in a room with a button that says "make another WordPress rollout". That's fine, you know? When I was consulting, I was the guy that was two steps up from that: the guy that does custom WordPress plugins and then the guy that writes the code. They can put whatever they like in a press release (and they have an incentive), but none of the "AI" (LLM) companies are firing their coders.
