@ai6yr Tried a new-to-us restaurant last night. It had the QR code in a little stand at the table for ordering. Ugh. Went ahead & looked at the menus on our phones to select the food, but when the server came by & I asked about combining our orders on one bill, she said we could order from her & she actually preferred that to help her be sure we got what we wanted. They’ll bring paper menus if you ask, too.

Where I *would* like to see the QR code used is to pay for parking. The county garage spits out a ticket with a QR code printed on it, but then after the show or whatever, everyone has to stand in line to pay at a machine. 🙄 If they can put the QR code on the ticket, why can’t it be used to pay for parking?
