@thomasfuchs Yeah, but managers won't have to put up with snarky grey-beards like me who
a) (think) they know what they're doing,
b) (think) they know what the compiler is doing (or will do),
c) (think) they know what the optimiser (will) do and why that SQL hint is *not* actually required, and
d) can take requirements (in pretty much any form) and (think) they can spot gaps in said requirements where the product manager hasn't already been there, done that, and lived the experience.
But I'm not a statistical prediction engine, so what would I know?
Luckily, for me and those managers, I'm retired.
