ok the amount of mods I installed that I have no idea as to what content they add, is quite high.

one of these mods adds a whole companion you can recruit as an officer if you get high enough relations with her as a mere contact and she'll interrupt the game to talk of her past or give insights on the sector (on the campaign map, of course). she also has little events you can opt in to at bars. she is STARTING to feel like an actual character.

I appreciate the classic edgelord option of "monologue about how your sole purpose is to sow chaos and destruction".
