Adventures in insurance pt 4922:

I need a knee guy and a hand guy. Both are at the same ortho practice where I am a happy patient. They can’t be scheduled for the same day bc insurance won’t accept 2 bills from 2 docs in the same practice on the same day

But as this is going to determine treatment (do I need a cast, to stay off it, to walk on it, etc) I don’t want to delay either appt until Mon.

“Fine, I’ll pay cash for the 2nd appt on Friday”

“We can’t bill you in cash, you have insurance”
