I think I only saw the first HP movie (and possibly the second). This was after reading the book with Son_2. I think we eventually reached 3 or 4 books, but we definitely didn't see that many movies.

The books were nowhere near perfect, but they had a magical effect on the kids of the time. Even people who were almost non-readers were lining up to read those books.
