Rich FelkerI've spent the morning consolidating a collection spread across many many optical discs onto a single large SSD, and I am shocked at how well the old media has held up. Many of these discs have not been touched in 20 years or longer, some spent years in a got attic, and some have discoleration from smoke (house fire) and UV exposure. Still, zero read failures so far.
