Sofia ☭🇧🇷☭@hellomiakoda other languages have different words for these different situations, but modern English has kind of mashed them all into "sorry", so I see how it's kind of confusing. Like, you could say "my condolences" if someone died, but that sounds too formal nowadays 🤷♀️
