there is a risk of going too far in the other direction, downplaying any US fuckery, there always is if you look, and it's more subtle than just paying people to do a thing, liberal NGO's very often have subtle biases towards say neo-liberalism or the West because of how they get funding, seemingly progressive media outlets will often ally with Western Interests etc. but Blumenthol and his toadies make anti-imperialism into a complete joke, indistinguishable from Alex Jones level paranoia.

What it comes down to is you need to have a 'concrete analysis of concrete conditions' like get your information from people in that country who know the history and current situation and have a solid analysis. Not operate with a pre-fabricated 'regime change / color revolution' model and say that's what happens everywhere.
