I personally find it worrying that the system is structured such that if instances don't block back, they get defederated. that seems like incentives for building walls rather than community. I hope #FediBlock moderators won't fall prey to that, and will revise their rules to avoid being exploited and manipulated into promoting injustice and harming the network. blocking, silencing and muting were meant to promote tolerance, but this is evidently a case in which it's been abused to serve intolerance.
