@voidandnil @azalea @GreyNA @zx I think it's up to the longer term members to lead by example. I notice a direct uptick in people engaging in theory when there's a new nyxpost. That being said I've always felt this was more of an art movement than an academic space, some sorta pseuo-hybrid or w/e idk. Like I've always been here primarily for cultural reasons and artistic influence despite having an interest in theory I personally keep my distance from most theory discussions bc it just feels like recycling dead old guy ideas a lot of the time. A curated reading xnfm reading list might make for a good pool for ppl to keep their beaks wet in but ye is not up to people like me ultimately, it's easier for us to wash out when not embraced & called /tttt/ slurs.
