@wrongthink Also, here in Japan if you refuse to have a smartphone with you at all times, you're seen as if you came from a different universe.
You can still do most stuff without having one just fine (even online banking doesn't require a smartphone (yet)), but not having a smartphone here is still a very alien concept.
