-Vice lawyers submit takedown, JP sub version is gone
-I got a copy of the subbed video file, and am now uploading it basically everywhere to see how serious Vice is about this

Vice is being oddly defensive about this one. If they're going to go to all the trouble of producing a piece that smears and insults the entire Japanese industry, I'm not sure why they'd care that Japanese people see it.

Unless there's some legal problems they're worried about, and I think they might be.
