defer@whitequark I've been running pretty much that exact setup for over a decade, and moving it to nix like that for a declarative config sure looks appealing. I've only played with nix a little, so reading a more complex config was educational. I'm definitely stealing that "load the config variables from a TOML file" bit next time I touch it.
