Russell@whitequark I recently went through a similar change. My old mail server was getting long in the tooth and, rather than upgrade the distro and potentially break all the configs in subtle ways I've forgotten, I searched for mail servers written in Rust and switched to Stalwart. It's been ... fine? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They make setting up all the things fairly easy (spf, dkim, dmarc, tls) with decent docs so I'm hoping future version upgrades will also be simple and painless.
