WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR PYRA – PART 1

My Pyra has a tough fight ahead of her tomorrow, so I thought I’d pull a page out of SuperSnekFriend’s book and make a pre-match thread explaining just why this girl is just so damn good! Let’s start with the obvious:

Pyra is literally THE perfect tradwife. She cooks, she cleans, she serves you and your friends beverages on her own initiative, and she HAPPILY does the dishes afterwards. After the events of Xenoblade 2 she gets married to GigaChad Rex and becomes a mother, making her one of this tournament’s few canonical MILFs. This was also foreshadowed in Xenoblade 2, where she expresses an appreciation for large families.

Additionally, Pyra is extremely sweet and even submissive – she’s known for apologizing a lot (even her Smash Bros. Ultimate appearance referenced that trait!). This doesn’t mean that she’s a doormat, in fact she possesses formidable willpower and will speak out against injustice (like this one Urayan soldier bullying a little girl while in line for food), but it does mean that Pyra is about as far from a Girlboss as it’s possible to get. If you don’t believe me, just consider how devoted she is to her man – not just by how she starts off by giving up half her life force to revive Rex from death, and how she sacrifices herself for his sake on later occasions too, but also in terms of the sheer, genuine INTEREST she shows in anything and everything that has to do with him, from the village he grew up in to embarrassing childhood stories about him.

Pyra is a special kind of Wife Material.
