@JSDorn @Nikolai_Brummbar the sequence of events here was, Lauritz made a poast about how Kevin Smith is big gay, I made an offhand comment about how Dogma was kind of OK back in the day, he remembered a story about how Smith counterprotested the evangelical types who were protesting the movie once, and I (as an American) explained to him (being non-American) some of the cultural context of the late 90s in terms of YEC Zionist GWB voters, and how as awful as the Kevin Smiths of the world are, it's hard to understand how cringe and terrible the late 90s/early 2000s evangelicals were if you weren't around at the time

this prompted the incel defense league, fresh off their "IF YOU LIKE 40K AESTHETICS EVEN SUPERFICIALLY YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO THE WHITE RACE" spergout, to swarm me with "ACKSHUALLY THE EARTH IS ONLY 6000 YEARS OLD AND YOU ARE GOING TO HELL IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE"
