@sun @Dan_Ramos "kids these days" is an attitude as old as time but I think the desire to be proud of your children is being intentionally crushed and it probably started long before millennials. There's also a sense of "oh it's my turn to shit on the younger generation" which you can even see in millennials to a certain extent (although it's mostly harmless ribbing).
