I don’t know who @mattblaze is referring to but the revolutionaries I know are using whatever works (diversity of tactics ftw).

What I’ve encountered most are people who promote the legal route and consider any other action illegitimate. Anyone familiar with the history of fascism knows that won’t be enough, but that doesn’t mean people should stop doing it.

At this stage we need to hit them with everything we have and not waste those punches on each other.
