My old manager and supervisors worked really hard to beat the cynicism out of me and this was the ultimate test on whether or not I'd give up on my sincerity and ideals and give into despair, regressing back into that cynicism. I'm very happy to say that I've only become more resolute in my faith and idealism as a result of all this.
