GrapheneOS@iobear @teqnkka @david_bardos @growfediverse Fairphone is a for-profit company trying to earn money. Their approach to earning money is convincing people their devices are environmentally friendly with fair wages for the people involved and long term support for repairs/updates. We know the claims about updates are thoroughly inaccurate, as are the claims about privacy with /e/. Therefore, why take the rest of their marketing at face value? Where's the proof it's more sustainable than iPhones?
