GrapheneOS@iobear @teqnkka @david_bardos @growfediverse Fairphone's devices are nearly entirely designed and implemented by their ODM. They do very little engineering themselves. They're not providing actual long term support and updates. Fairphone 5 is approaching kernel end-of-life in December and the Fairphone 4 is already there. Basic backported patches come months late and OS updates start a year or more late then get much worse over time. They miss basic security features/protections too.
