Yes, asking us to ignore or "set aside" his blatant anti-trans and anti-unhoused bigotry is defending him.
I assure you, we are NOT deficient in people who are willing to do stuff against Trump. Take the opportunity to show the Democratic party that being a bigot is not okay or allowed. When you try to silence people pointing this out, you're not sending a "I like that you're attacking Trump but don't like your bigotry" message like you might think.
This is the kind of stuff that has ended with us having a Democratic party that laughs while the names of dead Palestinian children are read off at the DNC. We want to do better, yes?
