@cinderdazzle612 that's an interesting idea and it might work for some kinds of nails?? but I'm sure it won't work for builder gel (aka biab) which is the kind I always get. The builder part is kind of like a dome on top of the nail, and they shape it by turning your hand upside down so that gravity makes the wet gel form a nice curved shape. Maybe similar to the bevelled glass of a phone screen? It's very strong, I love the way it looks and feels. But taking length off the ends and filling the gaps at the bases would seem a bit like modifying glassware by adding new glass to it.
