- Embed this noticeI am all for having people who owned slaves pay restitution to those who were slaves. But what you want is that people who never owned slaves, even those who's direct ancestors never owned slaves, should for some reason pay money to people who never were slaves because they have the same skin color as some people who did? There's a word for that.
And what about blacks who owned slaves, what about blacks who owned white slaves? How far back does your linage have responsibility for what those before you did? If you go that route, you'll find a lot of reparations to pay.
And that ignores the data that blacks after slavery were better of financially then they are now (in the US). Because progressive policies destroyed the black nuclear family and it hurts kids.
