I understand why people post these things. And I understand why some people might choose to leave the US. It can seem overwhelming.

But I also think about my parents and my grand parents.

This country has always contained "unwanted" people, demonized people. Like an irritating grain of sand.

And to some real extent most of the things worth celebrating about the idea of America are the direct result of such people.
