@skinnylatte @sindarina Maybe it’s the midwesterner in me, surrounded by ELCA Lutherans, Congregationalists, PCUSA Presbyterians, and more of the liberal denominations that do advocate for the greater good that keeps me hopeful.

I can’t lump them all together for similar reasons why I can’t say all blacks/mexicans/indians/gays/trans/men/women/Jews/Muslims/etc are X.

I’m not ready to give up on nuance, even though it sometimes makes me tired in this world.
