johnebuisii@georgetakei If I understand Mastodon correctly then it is multiple servers that can share a "trust" between each other. If that is true then there is no one server that controls everything. That being said corporations and such can weasel their way into anything but it would be harder for them to grasp control if there is no one central point. And back to my first sentence... this is if I understand Mastodon at this time.
