     on second thought its prob just the blur effect, it lags apple.com as well which does that same navbar trick

     Thanks for sharing! Ironically that's kinda similar to what I believe, with the biggest differences being I think your legacy/existence is continued by your people (ie those genetically similar to you, particularly family) vs someone of similar mentality, and that I don't think the purpose of life is to just go with the flow, but instead we are called to fight bitterly for a better future. Whether this calling is a material manifestation of instinct or something that partially transcends the material world isn't something I think we can totally know either. There certainly isn't a lot of evidence for non-material influence over reality, but given we live in the material world we can't really say with any certainty there isn't either.

     @expertmanofficial @HitlerIs6_4 I made Soapbox for everybody. I judge no one for their beliefs. That’s the whole point of it. We are working towards a shared mission. It doesn’t matter if we believe different things. And anyway- I don’t think you really read my blog post!

     @alex I'm curious about the choice of Next.js.
     
     Next.js is a great framework for complete applications where you are rendering pages by pulling from a database, but this appears to be a marketing website with blog posts that are generated from static markdown. It shouldn't be shipping any JS to the client at all, but a quick glance shows almost 300 kB.
     
     Perhaps a static site generator like Astro, 11ty or Hugo would be a better choice?
