   the more i look at forgefed, the more i see that 99% of already existing AP software will not federate well with it

     e.g. if Repositories are an Actor type, then why not use them as `subject` in Tickets instead of using `context` to refer to the Repository, considering a Ticket can have replies, subthreads, etc?

     so far, i am not very impressed by ForgeFed, it also seems very constrained to git and nothing else

     @helene Well, to me AP is way overblown for forges, I'd rather just have something like OpenID and a standard API to create/close/comment tickets and patches.
     
     But well, SourceHut basically just solves that issue via email, which is already nicely standardized, just need a web interface for the newbies.
