Alexandre Oliva (lxo@gnusocial.net)'s status on Friday, 30-Dec-2022 21:03:47 JST Alexandre Oliva consider this as applicable to a very widely used platform, so that not being on it amounts to being a second-class citizen, or even an unperson. like, say, internet, or having a smartphone, or authenticating against your government health services or social assistance platforms through it, or something required to apply for asylum or refuge.
does it still sound bad then?
why do some people seem to like death sentences so much? your *boot* on someone else's face may feel good if you find that other person undesirable to interact with, but sooner or later someone else will find you undesirable to interact with, then what?-

However, as Nostr’s documentation reads, “there will always be some Russian server willing to take your money in exchange for serving your posts.”"
It's as bad as it sounds.

Raphael Lullis (raphael@mastodon.communick.com)'s status on Friday, 30-Dec-2022 21:03:49 JST Raphael Lullis This is not as bad as it sounds. You can have all the moderation/filtering/censorship done at the edges. and it also gives more power to the people and makes us all less reliant on moderators.
