   that is interesting. on eldritch.cafe we have 5000 character limit. on craftodon.social my other instance i'm on, we only have 500. this just goes to show you instances really do make their own rules and stuff, and that mastodon is not all one thing.

     @taliesin @PeryleneBleu Yeah, but what about blog posts and stuff, not all of the fediverse is microblogs, and not all the mastodon instances care about limits
