     @matty @chudbere It used to be possible, but Pleroma broke it after they introduced chats. It was a back-and-forth, and eventually the easiest thing was to just count the unread notifications in the first page.

     Off topic - is there any way to show the actual number of notifications if the count is over 20? I noticed that if you do not refresh the page, the notification counter works correctly, but if you refresh the page and have over 20 notifications, it defaults to 20.
