   It's very sad to hear the news that an advanced skier went missing within the Solitude ski resort and was found dead the next day.

   This is a reminder never to ski alone if you're going off the groomed runs into trees or expert-level runs.

   Even this expert skier got stuck in a place in mid-day, and no one saw him.

   Condolences to his family and friends.

     I'm an intermediate-level skier. Once, I was just getting used to an expert run with friends, then decided to go again after they left. I fell and couldn't get my ski to click back onto one of my boots on a steep fluffy slope.

     Only then did I realize that I was stuck on a secluded run at the end of the day, outside the night ski area. It sank in that no one might come by.

     As I was struggling to click the ski back on my boot, two skiers stopped to check on me. Right then, it finally clicked in.

     @hashitan I am honestly terrified of the idea of dying alone in the wilderness due to some accident. That's why I stay inside unless a friend drags me out. ?
