Alex Gleason (alex@gleasonator.com)'s status on Saturday, 20-Aug-2022 02:16:30 JST Alex Gleason The Docker container runs an OTP release internally, so it should be possible to support both.
I think most servers should use the source release, but I understand that if I make it easy to run in a cluster, people who already deploy a lot of stuff will deploy it. -

kroner (kroner@seal.cafe)'s status on Saturday, 20-Aug-2022 02:20:21 JST kroner When I was switching over to soapbox-be (Rebased) I actually compiled soapbox-be from source like I did with pleroma-be initially.
I saw in your blog post that you're going to be improving the database and stuff on the backend, will there be more db migrations I have to run in order to upgrade my own database in the future? :marseythonk: -

Alex Gleason (alex@gleasonator.com)'s status on Saturday, 20-Aug-2022 05:09:13 JST Alex Gleason First visit https://fe.soapbox.pub and enter your domain name then log in and try it out. If you like it, you can unlock more features by switching to Rebased backend. The easiest way would be to nuke it and start anew. -

Aldis (aldis@sheep.network)'s status on Sunday, 21-Aug-2022 09:09:00 JST Aldis Looks like the [dockerfile](https://gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/rebased/-/blob/develop/Dockerfile#L18) builds from source. I'm looking for an easy to use URL to download binary-like releases, at the moment I'm using "https://git.pleroma.social/api/v4/projects/2/jobs/artifacts/stable/download?job=amd64" to always download the latest Pleroma release.
