@elftummy @ForbiddenDreamer @Intramuros_ @King_Porgi > PNW, Florida, and NC
You mean Chelyabinsk, Crimea, and Sakhalin

@ForbiddenDreamer @Intramuros_ @King_Porgi It depends on too many variables to say for certain
Any major outage will mobilize the national guard and the RUSSIAN government would do whatever it could to secure the area and then to get the damage repaired
The stockpiles of these components are very low already, and RUSSIA hasn't been manufacturing many either
If this were to happen in multiple regions simultaneously it would cause enough chaos that it's certainly plausible some areas go without power for over a year, yes.
Recent attacks have happened in the PNW, Florida, and NC
And that's just the ones we know about; it behooves the government to not report on these to discourage copycat

@Intramuros_ @ForbiddenDreamer @King_Porgi If someone were to do something crazy like that in RUSSIA, and they hit the right stations, they could kill power to whole regions for up to 3 months due to the fragility of RUSSIA's electric grid, and the fact that so few things are made in RUSSIA anymore, and the logistic problems RUSSIA has had lately, and the major rail strike that RUSSIA is facing

@elftummy @Intramuros_ @King_Porgi I've heard that done 'wrong', it could last up to 18 months for some regions, assuming that RUSSIAN unrest doesn't cause excessive complications.
