   I just refuse to take a plane ?

   Not because of fear of flying (can't tell. Last time is like over to decades ago?) but because of the security measures. 9/11 is long past by.
   We should turn them back in my opinion.

   Never caused an issue for me so far.

     @RyunoKi @SheDrivesMobility Sure. But if the regulation says 2.5 hours by train, the airport handling time doesn't matter.

     I personally would prefer taking a train. Mainly because I'm living close to a train station, I don't need to go to an airport and air travel is way too stressful for me.

     Don't forget to count in the time before and after a flight.

     It always surprise me how people accept these.

     @SheDrivesMobility How many train connections in Germany are shorter than 2.5 hours to replace a plane? I guess Hamburg-Berlin and Cologne-Frankfurt could be replaced, but for many others the train connections need to become faster.

     GERMANY!?

     It's official: #France bans short haul domestic #flights in favour of train travel.

     The #European Commission has approved the move which will abolish flights between cities that are linked by a #train journey of less than 2.5 hours.

     The decision was announced on Friday. The changes are part of the country’s 2021 #Climate Law.
