Being rich is probably the biggest way to influence the world. There are a little over 2,000 billionaires in the world. Among them, 165 are Jewish. That’s about 8%. They are overrepresented (compared to 0.2% of Jews in the whole population), but still a minority among the rich. Meanwhile of the ~5 million Jews in the United States, the chances of running into one with the ability to oppress you is so small it will probably never happen. There are 12 known Jewish billionaires in the United States. And if their reign of terror is so great, why don’t the good white billionaires with even more power stop them? That is a rhetorical question. Think about it.

Sajith (sajith@toot.cafe)'s status on Wednesday, 07-Dec-2022 05:50:26 JST Sajith @alex Some people would argue that the real power belongs to trillionaire families that fly under the radar, and not individual billionaires -- the Rothschilds being the most bandied about name.
I personally don't have a clue, and I certainly don't know if the above is true. The world is too complex a place for me, and too many random events are set off all the time. Folks perceive whatever patterns they want, depending on their orientation.
