   Hello #Hachyderm. We have a new community resource online for us to begin leveraging as a collective.

   The website is https://community.hachyderm.io and the source code is available here (https://github.com/hachyderm/community/tree/main/community.hachyderm.io)

   I have already merged 3 contributions today.

   We will be leveraging the "Posts" and "Announcements" features as we continue to grow hachyderm's community.

     @arjay This is something @quintessence and I talk about often.

     I think she has the best ideas on things we can do today, and my current goal is figuring out long-term governance of the project so we can have a more scalable answer to the question "How do we get equity, influence, and decision making power into the hands of our users?"

     @nova @arjay Chiming in here as well: one of the things that impacts our decisions is how many volunteers are available. It won't help users, for example, if we don't have enough people on hand to answer questions / resolve issues, even if/when we open it up. (Note: ... we do have the Call for Volunteers form open, haha, for scaling in general and not specifically for this).
