@cassidyclown it seems that we only had trouble federating with poast -

@Noided @Inginsub @cassidyclown yes it's forbidden because archive.is uses tor to fetch statuses and our users prefer we do what we can to prevent stuff like that
I recenty added blocks for IPv6 and TOR at the DNS level too -

@graf @Inginsub @Noided fair - what did you do to get the onion site to play nice with federation? -

@Inginsub this made sense when fedproxy was on because the logs kept saying that it was trying to connect to poa.st's onion site over the clearnet which was "no longer permitted." Now I get a warning often saying "Authenticity is not established by certificate path validation, cacertfile/cacerts is missing" - I guess it must be using the wrong path because my cacertfile is definitely there lol. But if that was going to break federation I figured that it would break it for everything and not just random poa.st statuses. -

@graf @Inginsub @cassidyclown @Noided 1. archive.is does not use Tor for its queries;
2. Nothing stops someone from archiving your posts from remote instance;
3. L + ratio + :da_nose:
