     it's not a metaphor, it's quite literal.
     colonization is about imposing one's culture and behavior over others, and exploiting others' resources to your advantage. that's exactly what I get from your second post in this thread. from your response to me, I hope you didn't really intend to behave that way, but I still fear maybe you just don't realize that that's what that post suggests :-(
     I hope you can try my shoes, so to speak, and look at it from a PoV of someone who's lived here long before you "discovered" it and started "sharing" your cultural artifacts onto us

     @lxo using "colonial" metaphors for different apps is gross, especially considering Black twitter's criticism of this one. don't be a dope.
