   I "locked" my Twitter account to private. More or less, I expect things to become incredibly shitty over there if you're a member of a marginalized group. You might consider locking or deleting yours... but honestly, locking and *not using* is probably the best strategy

     @computersandblues there's a good reason to lock and abandon rather than delete your account: someone can then take over the same username and more easily pretend to be you
