   Sam Bateman, who represents Billingshurst, submitted a motion asking the council to protect single-sex spaces, update staff training and record sex and gender reassignment as separate characteristics in equality monitoring.      @flick The Lib Dems get funding from a pharmaceutical company, so I'm guessing that the funding comes with a side order of *men are women* because he who pays the piper calls the tune. They may also just love the genderwoo. My local MP (a Lib Dem) tries to do some good in the area regarding local issues, but he has to spout the *trans rights* and *no to the hate from the far right* because membership of the party demands this ideology.
     And people wonder why I loathe party politics.
