   @OrionKidder from my experience it's usually one of two things:

   1. check your firewall settings
   2. check if HPLIP is installed if you have an HP printer

   other than that, CUPS has worked as well as possible considering the cursed black magic that is printing in general

     I *do* mind that I STILL have to send files to my iphone to print them because #Linux / #Fedora / #Gnome (I don't know which!) can't seem to consistently connect to my printer and print things correctly. It just never quite works. Sigh...
