I'd see this version of Quiet Riot... I passed on seeing them in Ballard (Seattle) with Kevin. Too bad, because that was a small club-sized place. I just didn't have the cash at the time.

Having gotten almost all Slade's albums though (never got to see them live either)... Kevin was certainly channeling Noddy. Two of QR's hits were Slade covers.

@SiRrogueKnight That was a good cover. I liked Slade, but where I grew up they were local boys. My dad used to work with Dave Hill.

@SiRrogueKnight @KeepTakingTheSoma I was never in to Slade all that much but I remember when I went to see Rush at Wembley Arena in 2007, there were posters for Slade's 'in search of the Fourth Chord' tour 😏

Has always stuck with me, I respect a band that can laugh at itself 👏

     That's cool. 🍻

I didn't know much at all about Slade, until I started getting their albums. They're almost like a glam rock to AC/DC bridge. I also quite liked the movie. It pre-dates Clash's Rude Boy, and had that spirit of a story in the band... good stuff.

@SiRrogueKnight I did get to see Slade, but without Noddy; must have been about 2010. The Sweet were supporting. Excellent evening.
