@Chzikken_1486 the plant is churning out so many peppers I needed to do something with em.
Also, envy, not jealousy -

Harblinger
1 cup vinegar
1c. water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp garlic (I used crushed garlic from a jar once, and then powder another time)
~1 lb jalapenos
boil -> turn off heat -> jalaps in 15min -> jar 'em upthat's what my notes say at least, I may have even cut sugar in half again the 2nd batch

@harblinger what I did was ~1C vinegar, 1tsp sugar, 2tsp salt, 1 tsp granulated garlic, 2 tsp dehydrated onion (in hindsight, far too much), and ~1tsp of whole cloves. Just sliced the peppers, into the jar, then boiled the brine until I couldn't bear the smell anymore, and poured it over. Fit this pint size jar almost perfectly. -

@harblinger I adore cloves, I use it in all of my baking and my grandma used to pickle things with whole cloves.
She used to pickle watermelon rind, which sounds insane but I have such fond memories as a kid having it on hot summer days.
